New 70% and Salted Dark Bars

The ever-popular sea salt chocolate is finally back! This time it's made with cacao from a new source in the Dominican Republic and sea salt from California.

For those of you who like your chocolate plain, joining it is a new pure 70% dark.

Both bars offer rich, balanced flavor with low bitterness and plenty of nuance to explore.

Why the Dominican Republic? In addition to having excellent organic cacao producers, it's about as close to home as possible. That's good news for the environment and our wallets.

Sourcing from this Caribbean island nation just 750 miles south of Florida means lower shipping emissions and costs, and I can pass those savings on to you while lightening my chocolate's footprint.

At $5 for a full-sized bar (or as low as $4 when you stock up), the new bars offer an excellent value in specialty chocolate.

Plus, they're allergen-free, refined-sugar-free, and made with only certified organic ingredients, so you can gift and enjoy them with confidence.

Winter Online Tastings - Feedback Needed

With in-person events unlikely this winter, I am considering offering online group tastings as a new way to connect. What else are we going to do in January?

But first, I need your feedback.

I'd ask for tasting groups of 5 or more, where each participant orders a set of chocolate bars ahead of time. We'd spend about 45 minutes tasting and discussing the chocolate in a video meeting. I would not charge extra for joining your group--just for the chocolate.

It would be a fun way to connect with friends, family, or clients, and you'd get direct access to a chocolate maker's perspectives and expertise.

Interested? Have questions? Please contact me--I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Happy Halloween and stay well,
